Description
Many thanks for all your comment & views on my other images.
Another view of the 'stately home' at Elvaston (actually it's up for sale if you have some spare change!), this time shot down the avenue with a 100-400 lens rather than the 16-35mm wide-angle. I am about 400 metres from the building here.
The zoom tends to flatten landscapes (compression, I think it is known as), but it also tends to pull you into the photo, making you feel part of it, whereas a wide angle pushes you away. Have a look at the wide image and see whether you agree? Sorry, I don't know how to do a short hyperlink here!!! Perhaps someone could tell me how?

Yes I would be interested in knowing how to make a link. A Tut wanted! I've come further back into your gallery as it looks as though you have nodded off :) The youth of today, ah say the youth of today!!! Excellent shot! Looks a bit parky out there. Would anyone outside the UK understand that joke? - Oh, no one does :(

I like both pictures, the wide angle as well as this one. You are a brilliant photographer.
