Description

This is my first render in 2005. I was very occupied in my office the last three months, but now (slowly) return to work in my great hobbie: the 3D. The ship was created two years ago for a proyect of a game with a friend, but never was finished. Well, now I use the model to make a little animation and this is a render of a frame. Thanks for viewing and comments are welcome. Regards to all.

The astriods, really next a hypertexture, something like dented works pretty well if I remember. Also the green-red color texture you used really kinda looks awefull and un-astriod like. On the ship, you need to turn smoothing on under surfaces. The background nebula looks interesting. Oh and the photoshoped lens flare, it needs to die, photoshop lense flares suck horribly.

Actually, I find this intriguing. The colors in the nebula are wonderful. The ship, in fact the scene looks to be minimalistic in it's approach. It works on a level of light and dark, color and lack-thereof. Just works for me. Normally, i'd probably not like the asteroids, but somehow they work here for me. I actually really like the scene - sort of reminds me of childhood somehow (meaning that as a compliment). Kind of like my young my imagined space when it was free to really dream. I'd LOVE to see the animation. Depending on what you were going for I could give it a variety of ratings (somewhere between interesting - since I am definately interested no matter what you were going for - and good - but I you should know that I reserve great and excellent rankings for those images that I find almost flawless - so Good is - well really good.) - since I don't know what you were after, I'd normally not rate this, but since it intrigued me so much, I'll give it a GOOD and ask you to show us the animation. Neat image - might end up being my wallpaper for a while. Be encouraged.
