Description

Terrain is World Machine - size 2049, generated in about 45 seconds. Textures consist of the base plus two child layers. Original image 2000 X 1500 rendered in 19 minutes, 50 seconds. Before that, about an hour consumed on test renders and after that, 30 minutes to postwork out a few undesirable artifacts. What is up with that? Hope all have a wonderful Saturday! Excellent image and surface work. The title has me really thinking. Could it have to do with cars and the Bonneville Salt Flats? I see the tire tracks.

Excellent terrain and pov, and wonderful surfacing considering only 3 layers: @ photostar, title probably refers to render time. (similar image would take my humble computer more than 2 hrs to render at that size).
