Appropriate title! I might have cropped the hood of the car off the bottom of the photo. Looks like a good day to stay inside by a warm fire!

It is that odd standoff when the car points at the pier and the road turns. One of the lessons of high speed running is not to look at the obstacles close up. Anything you focus on you will hit. (On the other hand, driving slowly, one can always blow the horn or run the windshield wipers to erase the challenge. This is something the pedestrian learns from observing.)
