Io has an atmosfere of 0,01 density of earth's atmosfere so the sky is black the render was made with a (black) sky

Very, very beautiful !! and original too ! I especially like the effect of the blue parts. But i have too agree with Vially on the sky part, I know the sky is supposed to be black but maybe you can add some stars or nebula, also you can add a faraway, tiny sun... But its already fabulous now. Further, I think the 6 Vially gave you is a digrace !!! its worth a ten ! Great job Martin !

Very nice and original image. I agree a lot with Enmos, although I think it's worth a nine ;-) Indeed with a better sky it would have been worth a 10. I was also wondering about the bluired parts in the foreground. where that ugly parts so you blured them or something? Keep this up Martin and I received your image for the Revolution contest, sorry for not confirming before. There where a lot of people still waiting for a confirmation ;-)
