Description

Taken at the backyard of my parents home, (Darwin, Northen Territory). I was actually helping them clear out some trees when I spotted this. So what did I do?? like any other budding photographer I ran inside the house to grab my camera, and zoom lens. The butterfly was no bigger than a actual thumbnail. The reason I named this shot 'Butterfly One' is because this is my first butterfly photo in my very shot photography experience. EOS 300D, 70 - 200mm, F2.8 Canon IS USM. Details: 1/100s, f2.8, handheld, ISO 400. Thanks for viewing and comments appriciated.

He's indeed small, I did try to identify him, but I only have a butty book on WA butties, and I couldnt find an exact match. He's definitely in the Lycaenidae family! Congrats on photographing your first butty, I hope you photgraphy many more!! I like the idea of the almost voyeuristic view! Excellent work =)
