You know, the first thing I thought of when I saw this, was, the Childcatcher's caged cart in the movie musical, "Chitty-Chitty Bang-Bang". It is exactly the same. You know, the Pott's children that were lured out of the village in the country of Vulgaria run by Baron Bomburst. He sent out the hated Childcatcher when the family went to save Grandpa Potts. In fact, since the movie was partially filmed in Germany, this may be the very cart used in the movie! Hmmmmmmmmm.........

now this is the kinda stuff that interests me ..i love antiques...can you imagine the prisoner stiking his arms out and trying to get a branch or something to swipe the driver with ?? so cool !!! great capture!
