I think that being a pacifist in a violent world will get you killed. Sorry, but look around.

I think we did give peace a chance, the problem is that the terrorists saw peace as an opportunity to take advantage of the idea that peace is a matter of trust. What do you do when the terrorists feel that peace is the enemy? There is a certain amount of irony in the image of hugging the terrorist as he detonates a bomb.... just how do you MAKE the terrorist want peace?....hug them? or hurt them?.....

As long as a person believes in "my country" then he will believe a) that murder is not terrorism if he is wearing the magic threads and b) that the other guy's magic threads are not magic. http://members.bellatlantic.net/~vze2yz6t/ May all beings, in the womb or out, be well, happy and peaceful.

I wish I'd done this. I think Kawecki is a brilliant artist. Both his Store products and his work is execellant. This image is brilliant,I am a "Lennonist", a pacifist and believe in peace at all costs. As the great man said: "Imagine no countries, no religion too" I feel three of the comentators here are very much mistaken in what they say. There must NOT be another war. If John Lennon were here now I would possibly have met him on the anti-war march I went on in London. He would have been at the head of the March. So "dont kill him again".
