Description
Since the 1st sun rise seen by man, there were things he did not understand.
These became superstition.
As man grew with years so did his wisdom.
Man learned about science, the stars and the earth.
He became adapt at predicting events, understanding the cycles of life.
We fly through the air.
Travel on land, water at speeds exceeding the horse and cart.
Superstitions have been dismissed or explained.
Still even now, after all the advancements man has made,
There Be Things.
From the Swamps of Texarkana to Lands End in South America.
From the Himalayan Heights to the Japanese Alps.
There Be Things.
Things we do not understand, things many say do not exist.
What are they?
Why are they?
It, Them, Hoo-Doos, Sasquatch, Yeti or Big Foot.
Many have seen, but not all believe.
Elusive, Reddish Brown, Big, Skunk Smell, Mad Howling the words used to describe these Things that Be.
The Upper canyons of the Himalayans are part of the range of these things.
Many have been reported by natives and climbers since time began.
Barren, Cold and Empty.
They need seclusion.

Wow, awesome story, this makes me think to Balzac and Shakespeare... and the render is... wow, so marvellous. Surfaces are extremely realistic, terrain is awesome, and pov really fantastic. Thanks for sharing. And a HUGE vote VVVVV

From reading your text, I think you listen to tha same program that I do: 'Coast to Coast' with George Noory or Art Bell. They talk about this stuff a lot. This is a thought provoking picture Frank!

I really like this picture and your poem adds to the enjoyment. I think there is one small thing you could do to improve the picture slightly. To my eye the yeti is a little bit too dark. He doesn't seem to quite fit into the landscape. I think this could be fixed by look more misty and off in the distance. He also could be a little bit larger. This would also make him look more mysterious and elusive, adding to the effect.
