Thanks everyone for your comments. This is in Sedona, Arizona and I must confess, at the risk of diminishing the photo's effect,...none of this is authentic...it is......aaaghhh......a shopping center of all things...very cleverly faux-created. I just had to tell you..you never know, one day one of you may stumble on the scene and I'd be cast out of the kingdom as a charlatan!

Hee hee, I was hoping it was a bed and breakfast so I could take my wife there - argh! Well, come to think of it, she likes shopping centers, and I've always wanted to see Sedona. Hee hee. Great shot though, and wonderful mood - my hat's off to you!

Well I hope I didn't ruin it for anyone....but Sedona is spectacular and this place I photographed is very well done.....If one can get past the idea that is is a retail venue and simply enjoy the "ambience", she we say, then sitting by a bubbling fountain in a little courtyard on a hot evening can be almost as pleasant as the real thing... a fountain is a fountain...just have to let the imagination wander a bit...and it's clear that people here in this group have plenty of imagination. Have the best of both worlds...take your wife to a B&B in Sedona and enjoy the powerful presence of the incredible red rocks AND take her shopping...just remember this is Sedona...bring LOTS of money LOL.
