Frontside surfacing and depth is outstanding! May be only strata in a middle rocks appears too artificial, Very Exc image overall!

your surface and light use is inspiring. beautiful colors. everything is so well done that i think the strata is not as refined as the rest of the pic. this work has a strong presence and yet natural-a work i do admire!

Lovely ground texture and water. Strata would be easy to tweak - add a Strata "shift" map ("Use Strata Map") and a B&W heightmap. A simple gradient fill at the correct angle will give a sloping effect, or you can try using a diffuse circluar brush to make "mountains" which give an arc effect to the strata. Another thing I do sometimes is a random perlin heightfield map, take a screenshot of it, and blow it up.
