As Peten says - really good POV as well. On textures there are lots to try: mix two stones for instance; vary scale on all 3 of the above with same texture; introduce bitmap textures and mix with the procedurals (slowest, but most interesting I think), you'll do fine, just play some and what ever you see in the gallery that you like, just ask the artist, most are very happy to help - good start here.
