Description
This is a converted photoslide. The photoslide originally was taken in the year 1978.
The picture shows a traditional Dutch landscape in winter at the end of a sunny day.
The farmhouses raise high above the surroundings because they are built on hills. Not all Dutch farmhouses are built on hills. In this case the farmhouses are located alongside a small river which overflooded many times a year, mostly in wintertime.

l,ve been looking at this landscape for almost 10 minutes.. and find it beautiful, intrigued with the buildings.. they have that medieval feel of anglo saxon long houses.. the shape..find the red door so inviting.. beautiful p'graphy. excellent sunlight upon the cows.. :) love this vote

Little yellowish, but that could just be the sunlight. Looks late in the day when that sort of coloring comes into the light. Very nice scene.
