Description
This picture is a kind of prequel to my last one, I changed here the POV completely, the background a bit and created the foreground totally new.
It's an illustration to the first book of the Earthsea-saga from Ursula K. LeGuin.
Sparrowhawk, a young magician, has a very serious problem and no solution for it, so he sails to the island of Pendor in the west of Earthsea, kills some of the young dragons and bargains with the old one. He guesses the name of the old dragon and thus he got power over him. Sparrowhawk is well aware of the fact that old dragons know a lot of secret things, but it's always a risky thing to deal with such creatures ...
If you like the story you should read 'A Wizard of Earthsea', it's quite nice. But do your very best to avoid the movie, this is a complete disaster and has scarcely anything in common with the book.

Hallo Maria! Wie immer ein sehr trmerisches Fantasy-Bild! Klasse die verschiedenen Entfernungsebenen und deren Objekte! (Das einzige was mich subjektiv stt, ist der fliegende Drache. Er wirkt irgendwie so hineingebastelt. Vielleicht knte ein wenig Transparenz desselbigen, diesen Eindruck abschwhen/ verwerfen. Aber bitte und wie gesagt: Nur mein Empfinden.) Abgesehen davon: Very beautiful and excellent! :-))) L.G. Th.

Awesome once again! The textures and details really come alive. I would say I love everything in this one, but I don't: The Sky is much too boring for the scene. Almost distractingly so, for me... But aside from that, it's awesome!
