Description
It's early morning, the sun is just up, the grass that I am laying in is still wet. The lense is inches away from this butty's face, and I am holding my breath hoping it doesn't fly off. But to my relief, it's wings are still wet, and it can't fly yet. When I looked out over the lense, I realized this guy was smaller than a penny...

Before reading what you had to say about your image I was going to comment on he fact that the butterfly permitted you to come in so close. Wet wings or not, this is an image to be proud of. I also the the faact that everythng around this butterfly is out of focus. The treatment you gave in framing the image is a perfect compliment to natures wonders. Bravo! V
