Description

This is the ancestral home of my great great grandfather William T. Baldwin (1870-1956). I cannot recall whether this is the house he grew up in, or one of the houses which he built for himself. I'll have to remember to ask someone the next time I go down there... Aside from comments and ratings on form and stuff, which are always welcome, you're also welcome to not only guess which state this photo was taken in, but what part of that state.

I really do not have a clue to where exately this was taken (I presume it is in the USA :-) .. fantastic to be able to "go back in time" this way and almost relive old times. Looks very well preserved considering the building date. Excellent shot

It reminds me of east Texas.

Hint: It's not Texas, although that is why I'm having you all guess. Because it looks more like a lot of places in the US where it isn't actually located.

My grandmother told me the other day that it's apparently one of those old style houses with multiple parts and what was called a "dogtrot", although this is apparently the only part still there.
