Valerio Viano born in Caracas (Venezuela) in 1972. Now living in Madrid, but soon will change to Lloret de Mar (Girona) as we always loved the sea.BIOI beginned as soon as possible. My father was a graphic designer and illustrator so it was easy to follow his steps. Began working seriously back in 1988 in some advertisement agencies (Tandem DDB mainly). Then went to my fathers studio for a short time as fathers and sons don't work well together:) Moved to a sport newspaper for some graphic issues and stayed there for 4 years, moved again to a studio and worked for Twentieth Century film press books and gained recognition with the Episode I Press book. Now working in my own studio (home studio) doing mainly book covers and illustration.

My eyes are crossed - I hadn't seen this before, looking very good tho. Textures are going to be a bear to get right i'd think. Very well done model.

Man, you've really braced yourself for the "Escher Police". Hang on, let me get my badge. OK, well, I can see where your camera angles are off now that I've had a look at the source but my first impression was "Wow, that looks fantastic. Obviously you're a stickler for detail and will push yourself accordingly so, what can I say except, Keep going. Looks fantastic. It's quite a challange (to me) take on making an Escher world. Hope you post more as it progresses.

VERY Nice...Very adventurous... why not try a mesh net for texture over the grey, might save on textures, a couple months ago some had a free camo net DL an idea... R

Just thought I'd point out: there are 2 strips (one on top, the other near the bottom) that are rendered wrong.

Yes, camera angles are a bit harsh. But hey, it's still a WIP. Need to do some camera movements as it goes looking up/down. This is made of 16 renders each of them varying camera pitch and put together with a nifty utility named PanoramaMaker (freebie with nikon digital cameras). Textures don't seem to be a great problem as I intend to map them straight to the walls. Thanks to all of you for your comments :)
