Description
this is the second shot of the ringbill gull
of the crulty of winter,we not only lose many
animals this way but each year people die
this awfull way also,I like this because it
has a beauty to it also, the big rock in is full
of fossils, and is over 380-385 million years old
oh yeah, this is a smaller gull of the many that
come around the great lake's, about crow size,
ok got to keep this short,my back got alot worse
so I'm off, this is a good shot of how my body
feels right now lol,ouu scary very scary lol;0P

You sure have got a clear shot of this. For what it is...it looks great.Someone where I live is killing eagles by the dozens. At least this is nature and not senslesskilling for feathers.

:( Powerful and true to nature. Great composition and neat note about the fossils in the rock. Feel better, my wife's back just went out...not a pleasant thing.

A sad but true photo. I always feed the birds in the winter so they can get nourishment. We go down to the beach every New Years Day ( and we live in New England) and feed the birds there too.

Death has never a pretty face, yet it is also important to record its face no matter how cruel it may appear to some. As yesterday's and now, you have, Tina given this gull dignity and a sense of honour to its life. This was achieved simply by the compassion your heart felt when looking through the lens of the camera and how you framed the photograph. A quiet vote, but a big one. V
