I found Renderosity late on in 2003 and have since become an avid viewer of the tremendous talent on display. My contribution is just pictures I've drawn, daft sketches, favorite photos (mostly of landscapes and mountain days out) and comments and laughs with other members. Thanks to all at Renderosity and to people who contribute some amazing images and ideas.

Beatiful mix of colours! A macro shot that is different from other butterfly photos, where you caught him on the run. Very nice work!!!

Wonderful capture of this "Red Admiral" !!! (In german this beautiful butterfly is called "Pfauenauge"). One of them, survived a whole winter (till springtime) under my bed, and we had to be very carefully all this time long

Beautiful. The thing is to plant the flowers that they are attracted to. When those are gone, then they are too. Sad. We need more beauty in the world, not less. Excellent capture.

Angus, this is the 'Peacock' butterfly...and it is just as gorgeous as the Red Admiral...saw quite a few last yr in certain habitations...nice shot nevertheless :)

Absolutely gorgeous, otherworldly even. But I'd call this POV a Rear Admiral, aka Posterior Peacock.

Nice capture, Anthony. Last time I was in Balloch, down at the castle end, there were lots of butterflies in the 'meadows' which they leave wild. Few people walk through them, because most folk arrive by car, and gravitate to the castle / gift shop, or the loch side. I disturbed some deer on the edge of the meadows, there about 8 or 9 years ago, too. Regards, John.
