Description

Well here it is, the "Dry Lake Modified Rat Rod Model" (say that 3 times). I have put a few hours into this one and I think im done for now. It could use some more small details like break lines and stuff but I am pushing my work computer to its limit, :oP I have done some colored render testing and it looks like I have a lot of custom materials to make as well as some decal learning to do. You can see the building process or the real car in my gallery. I had a lot of fun building this baby bolt by bolt and line by line; I hope you enjoy the detail and thanks for looking. Your comments would be appreciated.

There is so much that is so well done that it is hard to criticize with comments like "the heads don't look thick enough especially for accessory aluminum heads" or "the intake manifold just doesn't happen." Compare that with the springs and wire wheels are super! Maybe like me you have header burns on your arms and the buzz while adjusting the needles made you juump back as the flames spit out of the carbs from time to time with the long overlap camshaft almost singeing your eyebrows. This has the dried mud look of El Mirage and that is good enough.

how fast is this baby,, hehe,, give me a bucket for my brain and lets go for a spin man. :D tallpindo is correct tho, the head could use about another inch in depth. looks a bit thin. But other than that its excellent, nice detailed tred and the rest.

Great work particularly on the leaf springs. I also like the detail on the tire tread. This is awsome.
