There is a little sense of sadness here. maybe it is the slippery ice and the dangers one faces in life. I have been married for 17 years now and hope to experiance the warmth and closeness in later life what the two of them are feeling, as she holds his arm. I could almost cry at the simplicity and beauty of this image. One more thing, the 40/60 composition is perfect!!!
