Whiskey Lullaby The rumors flew but nobody knew how much she blamed herself For years and years she tried to hide the whiskey on her breath She finally drank her pain away a little at a time But she never could get drunk enough to get him off her mind Until the night She put that bottle to her head and pulled the trigger And finally drank away his memory Life is short but this time it was bigger Than the strength she had to get up off her knees We found her with her face down in the pillow Clinging to his picture for dear life We laid her next to him beneath the willow While the angels sang a whiskey lullaby (Excerpt from 'Whiskey Lullaby') Artist/Brad Paisley & Allison Krauss I was in another reflective mood this morning, that happens quite frequently. I know this image and excerpt are not 'uplifting' or 'positive'. However as happens in real life, sometimes we make choices that have an impact on us for the rest of our lives. Leeandra, this is a marvelous image! It looks like two spirals entwined with each other. Those colors are breath-taking and you know how I love red. The design looks like either hand blown or spun glass. Very delicate. Big "V" You are a great friend. Love ya too!

Love the spiraling, cradling cocoon-like quality of your richly colored image, Leanndra! While your text - as you say - is not uplifting, your imagery is, evoking a sense of gentle forgiveness and loving embrace. Very creative and beautiful! V

This style of yours is becoming a classic my friend!!. The image is superb!. Like Patti, I love the reds and how these contrast with whites in a very well controlled lighting. Your excellent choice of words, are a fact too many people have to face each day. I'm impressed Leanndra by these deep night reflections, surviving the day so clearly!
