Description

This former copper mine in Ireland had all the 'mod-cons' with a purpose built miners canteen cut into a small side chamber off the main tramming level.
Although it looks as if the last one forgot to wash the dishes!.
I decided not to stop here for my lunch!!

We can joke, we didn't have to eat there. Even the word "CANTEEN" looks like the opening title to a cheezy horror movie - once you eat there you'll wish you hadn't (mwuhahahhaha). I'd be inclined to join you for a wee spot of tea, but my Irish heritage is telling me that it might be wisdom to have you pour me a pint rather than a cup of tea. Purely for health reasons you understand - the alcohol kills the germs. Great Job!!!
