Description

This was taken from the upper deck of a whale watching boat between Long Beach, CA and Catalina Island with my Fuji digital camera. The trip would have been worth it just for this, even if we hadn't seen whales, dolphins, and sea lions. All in all, a great day

Catalina is one of my favorite places to roam and what beautiful sunsets they do get over the ocean you have capture the PERFECT!!!! one lovely indeed!! vote

This was taken on January 6th. It was getting cold up on deck, but I couldn't stop watching this sunset. I was the only passenger that didn't go inside. It just kept getting more and more brilliant. I took about 20 pictures as this sunset kept developing. This was the best. One of the crew was taking pictures as well and said it was one of the best sunsets he had seen.
