Beautiful water, and atmo. Terrain in wonderful. Surface map on upper rocks doesn't fit. Should be of a rocky grain, not grass.

The sky is very well done. Surface is ok, could be improved. and I think the sun should be somewhere else to get more shadows and more structures.

There is a real icy cold feel to this image; I guess largely due to the colors blue and green. The water is well done and adds to the mood.

Looks like spring is starting to arrive in this scene, or maybe it's the middle of July somewhere north of the Artic Circle. Very sharp render with great transparency and reflections on the water, really nice one!

Absolutely superb water settings. You can really feel how cold that water is from the spring snow-melt. I like the sky too, but a hot 20 render? Not with those surfaces. It looks odd because it's neither one thing or the other. If it's vegetation then there should be more slope limiting. If it's abundant lichen/moss giving the rock a green tint then there should be less fractal noise. In either case there should be more surfaces used to give variation and it looks suspiciously like just the default grey underneath.

@Snow_Angel...You dont need any advises ? This sounds really strange to me. I am always happy when i get advises how to improve my pics ! This is the only way to advance in fact, if not one gets stuck and never becomes better. And what is art all about ? Do you think this is art ? What do you mean ? Just a question....

Zazie is right, your last renders are just good renders, no more. Here, sky is good with an ugly postwork part up right. Water is great but surface layers are poor (grass on cliff slope...). This render only deserve a "nice" ranking in my opinion. It doesn't deserve so many votes. Always the same problem with you, your work and your friends. Please stop talking 'art' about every render you make, it a lot of pretension. Everything is not art. Art is very rare. We are not all artists. Every thing we all are making in Renderosity is in the best case illustration. You say "I don't need all your advise when I like what I am doing"... but Renderosity's vocation is exactly to allow users to get advices. No hard feeling, just criticism.

IMHO, Terragen is a landscapes generator; to generate landscapes, we must respect some physical and photorealistic parameters (also if we want to generate "surrealistic" or "artistic" landscapes). So Snow, the main parts of TG community, will ever judge a TG work looking to the pamareters i mentioned before, you can't ignore such fact. I think, if you want to improve yourself and so generate beautiful landscapes (i'm sure you can if you want), you must to improve your technics about the control of such parameters. May be read some of the thousand tutorial on overlays can help. On those image, IMHO i suggest to try some postwork on the shoreline, (too cut respect the terrain), also the green rocks is too uniform and give an idea of old computer graphics image. In the sky, you could plan to use selective gaussian blur to avoid sky banding. Also take care to use at least quality setting antialiasing and extra blend and finally, you can try to render image to high resolution and resize in postwork to improve quality and photorealism. Hope my opinion can help

Nice POV, except for that ugly coastline lower left corner. Surface distribution needs more attention. Agree with superza on sky banding.

Maybe I'm not totally correct but I think this Definition is what this Community is intended to be all about. The integration and manifestation into a state of being which allows a free flowing creative process using personally unique techniques evolved from the technical processes of a discipline.

The sky, the snow, the mossy rock - it all works! Then foam on the water looks excellent too. The bottom/right shoreline seems sharp though - I probably would have tried to clone or soften it in postwork.
