Description

- Scotland, Glen Affric - While eating I noticed a watcher sitting on the outside mirror of the car. Another even tried to fly into the car and onto the bread. What a surprise! More and more birdies came and were begging for crumbs. Do you know how much fun it was to feel wild birdies on your hand? This I never had expected. Beleave me it was a wonderful adventure! ;o) Had to change the size of the shots and compress them to get all together for this collection. So please do not care for the quality. I only want to share this event. ;o) Thanks a lot for all comments and I hope you have a special weekend! ;o)

Rita, you can't lose that feeling, like those birds of freedom, you ain't got no dues to pay, 'cause they need you bad, for what they never had. I want you to know, that it's alright to flow, yes it's alright my Queen! Let your love shine brighly, let it burn right through my veins. Like those birds of freedom, you ain't got no blues today....Forever, in a dream, together we will share..........VV........Love, Guillaume.

Fantastic, Rita, I'm so jealous!!! I haven't done this since I was a boy. I don't think it has anything to do with winter. I'm sure it was summer in the Lake District when I got chaffinches to eat out of my hand. I am still lookink for those Isle Of Skye photos.... :-(

You are truely "Blessed!" When I was in Hawaii the birds would eat out of your hand. They would actually come into the restaurant. It was an outside cafe. Fabulous experience!!

Great bird shots, Rita. I can watch birds for long minutes, but as soon as my hand goes near a camera - no matter how slowly - then off they fly. On the other hand I do have some great memories. You must have thousands! Vote! Regards, John.

They're not shy, are they? Just read an article in the newspaper about how the numbers of small birds in Britain is diminishing year by year; you've done your bit in slowing this decline. Great photos.
