Description

It's late and I haven't slept in 37 hours. In our lives we are always searching for something. Possibly a dream. But, that dream sometimes no matter how hard we try, no matter how hard we work, is sometimes the one thing that holds us back. ( I may be talking some crazy stuff but work with me here... this lack of sleep has taken it's toll on me for cryin out loud ) I guess what my point is, is this: I look at us all like candles.. some of us have brighter flames than others... some of us melt faster than others... some of us are even different colors and textures.. but in the end we are all still candles and we all still melt. It is only a matter of time until the final drop of wax hits the floor, or a slight breeze leaves our flame to be no more than a fading smoke ring ... ooo OOO O O O So this work is "my" candle, my self portrait.... I wonder how much time i have left?.. will I fullfill the things I have always dreamt? Can my flame withstand a steady breeze if need be? I don't know.. and I don't think any of us are meant to know.. but i will tell you one thing, i am damn sure going to shine as bright as i can.. ------------ i have some issues with this that really need to be ironed out, but figured i would post it anyway. your "kind" feedback is always helpful.. thanks in advance for your comments, support and for just being interested

You have exactly as much time as you have! And where ever you go, there you are! No gaurantees. I have to say I have lost my share of sleep over that topic..Hang in there! Meanwhile use more of that time making great art like this!! I think it is among the better use of that time! Now go catch some Z's!
