Description

This is Coningsby and the River Bain which is prolific with chub and roach. I visited this place during my lunch break nearly every Thursday. Thursday was the only day I worked there so I used to look forward it. The camera is almost at river level - a 'ducks eye view'. I downloaded Terragen the other day. I played around with it and somehow managed a half decent image which I hope to show tomorrow.

Where is Coningsby? I shall visit that place someday. That is absolutely gorgeous!!! I can imagine how spectacular it must look in a golden afternoon sun. Wow, thanks for sharing your little place with us.

Coningsby is in Lincolnshire, home of the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight and the church of St Michael & All Angels which is famous for its one-handed clock, dating from the 17th-century and at 16 ft, is the largest of its type in the world.

To fish or not to fly fish is the question. There is so much to be seen here. Off in the distance the mustard flowers and opposite a collection of varied trees. If one were a child or a child at hear, the cumulous clouds would be imaginary objects. I also looked for any sign of an insect hatch, but there are no ripples upon the water, no fish activity. Still, this is a peaceful and scene where I wish I could be. V
