Description

Ok, I think everyone got the same email from DAZ stating that the Troll character was greatly reduced in price. So, like everyone else, I had to go get it also. What a super deal. This is my first creation with it. I can't remember when I worked so long and hard on an image-bout 8 hours.

Well done. The mood and atmosphere are excellent and for the most part I like the presentation (Black border around the frame). It isolates the image and draws the viewer into it. However the signature/logo is a bit distracting IMO. Perhaps if you tone it done just a bit and/or move it into the lower right corner of the picture itself it would not draw the eye directly to it. If the Trolls are supposed to be mounted (I can't be sure, too much dust being kicked up - LOL) then the Gargoyle Hounds seem to be a bit undersized to carry all that weight. The leash/reins of the rightmost hound could be a little lighter so it blends in more with the rest of the picture. As it is now it looks like it was added in postwork as an afterthought. (Postwork is perfectly fine, but it shouldn't obviously look like it...). Overall, a very good image though and BTW, I only bother with lengthy, detailed critiques on images that I really like so take my comments for what they're worth and as my oppinion only. It has my vote. Thank you for posting and allowing us to view and comment...

I think you use some of the coolest effects in your images!!! The blurring looks fantastic and the border gives it a cinematic feel!!!! Wonderful job on these poses-I know that Gargoyle hound is a pain to train! LOL!!! Well, I have to get that Troll-this is one of the best I've seen with it!!! EXCELLENT!!! Vote!

Really nice work. The image captures movement, which is pretty hard to get. Great posing in this. Nice color as well. Another fine production from you both.
