Description

This was a beautiful old postcard from Lithuania. It was dated 1900-1930. I thought that she was so classic. I added quite alot of hair, and some color wash. Heightened the contrast and added some more flowers, one in her hand, and adjusted her clothing a little. The brushes were Bice and Annika Von Holdt's. Thanks for stopping by!

I love old photographs and postcards ,they have that special atmosphere and tell us about days long past. I used to do work for a profesional photographer and do retouch on very old and damaged photos .I love the photos you showed and please show some more .

Wonderful image all around! You did a fantastic job of "restoring" the postcard, great colors and hair. The images in the background are also fantastic, like echoes from the past, parts of her dream that no one else can see.

This reminds me of the strange nostalgia of Joseph Cornell, Amercian surrealist best known for his box constructions. A little gem this!
