Description

An old stairway,Finished in about an hour.I always work with my monitor at about 50% brightness,So to view this or any of my images properly try turning down your monitor brightness to somewhere around 50% or the pics just won't look right.I always forget to write it in my descriptions.Made with 3d max 4.2 and photoshop 6.Thanks for taking a Look.

Two crits: the texture of the stone on the wall to the right doesn't look right as the wall ends. The edges of the stone are flat, the goove of the space between the stones, should continue to the edge of the wall. Also, the shadows falling down from each level of the steps look wrong. The shadow would also fall along the wall as well as the next step down, creating a triangle on the wall from the edge of the upper step to where the shadow falls on the lower step. Does that make sense? Other than that, looks fine.

Fantastic what you can make in such a short time, and even if you had used lot longer I still think it is fantastic. Wonderful model and texturing here. Excellent work!
