Description

Still in progress. I haven't added any more modeling detail yet, but still plan to. I couldn't resist straying from modeler for awhile and see what this might look like with textures. Again...many tweaks needed and thanks for the positive responses! You've managed to keep me up another 3 hours :)

Stunning! Did you really make this up, or did you go out into space with a camera? Hmmmm... Excellant work!

This is very high quality work. One thing bothers me though. The model is very believable, except it's streamlined, therefore meant for atmospheres (at least once in a while). So, it shouldn't have that very unstreamlined box with the cables. I notice that the very best models have this way of amplifying the visibility of anything that is not perfect.

jc, you are probably correct about atmospheres and the like :) The deeper I get into this model, the more I am thinking of function and not form. I know that it should be thought of at the beginning, but you now how it goes...a click here a click there..suddenly its 3:00am :) Thanks for the crtique

Looks superb, it would be right at home in the new Galactica or Babylon 5...

Textures looking goo sofar. A little variation in textures is needed, though. But I'm sure you'll get round to it. :-)

looking great. always good to see WIP's. Love the design, forgetting if it would go through space or if certain bits should be there or not:-) I'm no astronaught so will just stick to the artist value:-) i think its cool!! I agree about the texture variation though, but always difficult to critique WIP's because im usually saying what the artist is already working on:-) great work and cant wait to see the finished piece.

Awesome! Where did you get your inspiration? Being a starwars fan, to me it looks like a combination of a T-16 Skyhopper and a TIE..well, just about anything. Keep it up, you'll always have at least one fan!
