Description

I suppose what intrigued me most about this image was not the juxtapositioning of man's power versus nature's power; but the advancing threat on the horizon. Thank you all for taking your time to view my artistic scribblings. Your comments and suggestions are not only deeply appreciated but valued highly.

Man's power is TINY! ;) Imposing image, but just a tad too sharp for my tastes.

I realy like the image, but will note that what Kort AKA: TwoPynts says about being to sharp is actually not sharpness but the actual conversion to B&W in 'Channel Mixer' and/or 'Levels' setting being out of range. This is noted on the mountain range and especially the buildings and power line towers. Since we spoke via the phone and I know this is also a software issue, I would like to suggest that once you hve Elements or PS, please revisit this image as it is a keeper and should have another look at. Still it deserves a VOTE . Take care my friend.

is the transmission tower a new one? It seems odd that there is only one, and are the lights at the bottom, town lights. So many questions and no answers. what is a person to do, try to catch the answers in the wind? not another question? I did it again, dang it I will shut up and vote

The transmission tower is not new but is larger and taller than others around the country as the SW USA has mucho space - the distance is great from the camera to the tower so the power lines were not resolved - there are more towers out of view and the objects at the bottom are a housing development. :-) Wouldn't want to live there myself but the houses are cheaper because of the power lines.
