Description

Inspired by some of the fantastic work that appears here, this is my first image to be uploaded. I'm fairly new to this so please feel free to offer any helpful comments.

That's a very cute model ;) The textures on him are nice too. You may want to consider adding a little foreground detail - for instance, a more detailed log on which the model sits. In general, the model has more clarity than the rest of the rendered scene.

Your image is lovely. I like the presence of your character, his colors render well with the forest behind. Maybe a bit more contrast in the overall pic would be better in order to appreciate details and to give some volume to the green and brown tones. (you said you wanted advice :-)
