Description
For as long as I can remember, I have traveled to a little town called Yazoo City at Christmas time each year. This past year, I had a feeling that there might not be too many more trips to this place so I brought along a camera. My grandparents have lived in Yazoo since before I was born. My Grandfather built the house with his own two hands. This picture is of the fireplace. I remember being a little kid and hoping Papaw had a fire in the fireplace when I got to his house. The picture was taken on his birthday....December 22, 2004. He is 91. In January 2005, he had to be moved to a nursing home. My childhood Christmas memories are all I have now.
