Description

Long's Peak is one of twenty-something peaks in Colorado over 14,000 feet in elevation. We Coloradans affectionately refer to these as the "fourteeners". My husband has climbed a few of them, but Long's Peak is one of the more difficult climbs, and can only be attempted during a couple months in the summer.
