Description

the full title of the image is: Another Day In The Life Of An Evil Genius but the Image Title field couldn't fit it all so i had to shrink it down :p this was intended for the February Still Life & Reflections contest. we had a streak of really hot days though and my computer kept shutting down half-way through rendering because it was overheating, so it was not finished in time :( it's still not really finshed, there's more i would have liked to add, and i think the atmosphere doesn't quite suit the likes of Dr. Evil, whose office this is supposed to be, but yeah, it's all i'm willing to do right now. i've got another view rendering, which i'll post tomorrow i guess, assuming the computer doesn't overheat and shut down again. there's a development thread in the forum where i posted the links to all the images i took off the net, including the source files for the two composites present (the 'poster' and the dartboard) i think the 3 items on the back wall actually ruin the image, but i couldn't think of a different way of stating that this is an evil genius's office :p

LOL. This is fantastic. The reflections/transparency of the table is kick ass. And I really love the !MINE! on the world map. Excellent work.

I have had a bit of time to think about this. So here it goes. This is missing one thing, and would answer your small problem with the back three items that annoy you. You need a large aquarium sunk into the wall, and this would finish off you already cool scene. I would add a specularity map and diffuse map; to give your floor and walls texture more strength and depth. Just my humble opinion.
