Funny, I don't remember the series, but I recognize the style of ship. It does make me think of all the sci-fi flics I used to hunger for (and still do) when I was a kid. Don't think I'd want to be the guy by the car. Nice work on the image - I like the Engine Exhaust Glow - pretty neat. Good work!

Very Nice! I just mentioned this show to someone a few days ago. At the time, they had a great effect for dying aliens. Sort of a rotoscope burn out effect. I lost interest because as much as I wanted Roy Thinnes to tell the world about the Invaders, knew the deck was rigged. No matter who believed by the end of the episode he was back to be unbelieved. Beautiful scene. Eerie smoke, spooky silhouettes.

Wow what an eerie scene. Its very nicely detailed and sets a dark mood. That craft looks good with the glow. reminds me of xcom.... :) Excellent render.

I too remember that show. From an effects perspective, it was fairly advanced for the times and not afraid to experiment. Great rendering, looks like part of the openning sequence, where David Vincent witnesses a saucer landing. It captures the dark, often gloomy feel that the show had. Perhaps another reason why it didn't catch on, people didn't watch TV in those days to be frightened on a regular basis.
