Fortified, strengthened, and compelled by the four natural forces known to mankind exists a specialized and powerful spell caster known as the Elementalist. Elementalists focus on magic aligned with the four primary natural elements; the unseen but staggering power of Air, the inevitable crushing strength of Water, the indomitable durability of Earth, and the raging fury of Fire. Though their magic is somewhat unsophisticated by the standards of more cerebral traditions, this is offset by its pure primal strength. An Elementalist that has achieved mastery of their art has achieved mastery of the very building blocks of their environment and are to be feared, and respected.

Yet another fantasy spell caster scene to add to my gallery; oh, the overwhelming diversity! By now, the plethora of effects in my images might be getting a bit redundant and mundane to the viewers on this wonderful site, and perhaps me, too. I shall return to my thoughts of other various themed ideas that have been on the backburner for awhile, mostly due to getting these fantasy scenes done first and foremost. There are so many visions in my mind I wish to realize, and I don't wish to be stuck in one particular genre for too long. As much as I love to create these images, I'd like to keep fresh with new ideas.This scene took about five hours to render, and another couple days in Photoshop playing around with different ideas in my spare time (which isn't much these days!). I hope you enjoy viewing as much as I enjoyed creating it! I had a lot of fun with this scene, and we shall see what comes next!

Well, this is really fantastic!! You did such an incredible job witht he placement of all these props and effects!! Wow, I had to look at every bit of this, because you've alot going on here. First, there's all the tangled wood, the colors are perfect, the lightening and the caronas are beautiful! The postwork is gorgeous. I guess I can appreciate you're going through the hours in rendering time wanting to take time and add the special details that you do, then the write ups are fast becoming a favorite of mine. STOMPS on the add to favorites button..(still won't work). *gives you a huge hug and bows out gracefully from your gallery in awe.

Dear David, another of your signature fantasy scenes - and hopefully not the last - maybe mix one in every now and then with new things. Your Post Work is alwasy so inspired - you really are a recognized (and much admired) master at it! Hmmm - did she go to Elemental School as a kid?
