wow, this is truely excellent! i once drew that castle with colored penciles, so i recognized it right away. :) drawing it was difficult enough, i can't imagine what modelling it was like. wonderful detailing. an excellent piece of work. all my respect.

Great work as always Sven.

i love the castle, but the water looks... wrong. a bit too reflective maybe, i don't know. excellent work on the castle though

Very nice, as usuall. only critique I'd say is the image looks a bit too blue-grey. Could be a lot stronger i think. but thats only a small opinion. As far as modelling and skill goes, you never cease to imress me my friend.
ISSE
Yes like photo, these reflections are superb

I think the image is phenominal. If I were to give attention to any thing, the only thing I see is that the water appears too silvery and mirror-like. I have no problem with the reflection, because I believe that, from that POV it would be about that reflective with the small ripples. Could it be a spectrum issue? In other words, would not this pond have some sort of mineral content or properties that would lend it some sort of color? Ponds seem to be greenish, so they split off that color of the spectrum. Glacial lakes are a more vivid green, because of high minieralization. Seas and large lakes are blue. I don't know; something to think about. Meanwhile, I'm just in awe of your castle. Extraordinarily well done.

Charles the 5th would be most pleased to recognize his feudal domicile.... One more small crit: are the roof tiles not tinged more blue in color, rather than gray? Oh, also, I think the stones in your texture are just a little too large. I think they need to be much smaller, in scale to the buildings. But otherwise, very nice.

This is very beautiful. And I hope no one has said, you need to dirty/grunge it up a bit. In this day we are getting obsessed with imperfections. I personally think a Castle like this would be kept remarkably well, and ooze grandeur, like you ooze in talent! (Vote)

xxancroft
Great work, I love the reflection in the water. My dad likes the cat on the roof!?
petes
simply fantastic!! the only crit, as zeno said, is to show some wear. the roof looks like you did. but not the gre/white bottom. this is too good not to go all the way! maybe the stones on the walls can be scaled down too? maybe half size? i could be talking out of my butt, since i don't have refernece...it just feels a bit big. just nit picking from a fool:0) gets an excellent from me!

Superb!!! :o) My only critical input here is that those flowers are huge. :oP

I love the sky and the reflections, lightning is wonderful. But it feels kinda empty, nothing in the background. But, as alwayss, your work is great.
