A very unobtrusive modernization with the inset door handles and the amber parking lights. Certainly if it was a 56 it would have a big V on the hood unless it was a six but the 55 had little V-8s under the taillights low so I don't know if it's a "sleeper" or not. The big tires and slotted wheels from the 70's again are very low key modifications. Grand photo to bring this one out of the hidden places.
