Description
Mystica background, my "ghostly" drawing imported from ArtRage, my photo of the house, several filters for flood and fire, and annikavonholtd brushes. Just a big old conglomeration...I got lost and didn't know how to stop I guess. Thanks for viewing..
The Ghost of the River Plantation
The year was 1850. They say that her spirit still haunts the place. She was one of many slaves ot the old Mississippi River Plantation. The plantation was prosperous at one time. Mostly a sugar producer, but they also raised cattle. Most of the field hands didn't live long.Cane fields were the hardest to work in, and only the strongest could last any time at all. When the Mistress died of the fever, Master did nothing but drink and curse until he passed out, day after day.The homestead fell into a state of total neglect. They survived by planting what they wanted, and feeding themselves and the house family. They still had the cattle. Things were tolerable for a while. When his son got big enough, he took over the plantation, and everything changed. Couldn't blame him, I guess. He had no one to teach him how to work the land. He found there was more money and less work in slave trade. Her husband had been sold last year, and now they were to take a passel of slaves up Natchez Trace to the auctions. She and her children were to be among them. That night, she set fire to their one room shack. While they were trying to put it out, she took her children down to the river, and they swam until they could swim no more. Now they say she walks along the river bank in the moonlight...looking for her babies.

I just wanted to say, With all of the Hot 20 talk going on, I just had to go and look. You know what? That show is KICKIN! I don't think I have ever seen such a beautiful display of gorgeous fractals~It makes me just want to sit down!! Every one of those deserves to be on that list, and I feel like just sitting down.
