Hello Dear Visitor of my homepage
This is me, Henk van der Poel alias Hedepo. Born in The Hague, The Netherlands in the year 1949. I joined the inspiring Renderosity community on the internet in April 2004 with a focus on photography but I like to play with Fractal Software as well.

BIO In 2002 I have picked-up the hobby of digital photography in conjunction with ?playing with Photoshop? on the computer. As camera I use Sony Alpha 100. The only real limitations I have found in this exiting hobby so far is the availability of time: To find time going out for making photos. To find time and to get access to our computer. My wife Deanne is joining me a lot in wandering around to find the nice spots for making photos, but loves to search the internet for her and our roots. If the weather is to bad to be outdoor, this happened over the last few years very regularly in the Netherlands, I escape to my second hobby: Fractals.
 We have three sons
Maurits (1986) will achieve his master in economics in Q3 2012,
Caspar (1984) has settled as physiotherapist / acupuncturist since 2010, (it was Caspar who introduced me in the world of renderosity)
Rogier (1979) master in science, chemistry and working for a large German Chemical Company as corporate  process engineer.
I enjoy very much to be a member of the renderosity community on the Internet, inspiring to see so many photos and artwork from all kind of people around the globe and to get comments on your own Photos & Fractals is great fun. I?m born in The Hague, The Netherlands in the year 1949. We are still living in this area, close to the sea behind the dunes were you can find in the springtime all the tulip and daffodil fields.
In the Netherlands we are gifted with quite a lot of very exiting musea, and lucky as we are nowadays, taking photos is allowed!!
Â
Mid 2007 I stopped with working (as a PhD in chemistry I have worked for more than 25 years in the coatings and paint Industry; activities bridging from R&D and pure fundamental research work – to - general management, marketing and Business unit Manager/ management) , and thought to find more time for myself, but a fact of live is that I don’t understand that I have found in the past the time for working ….. LOL ……
Â
I still have a high interest in general chemistry, however my real hobby is to travel and to catch the world into photos and to play with them on the computer.
Â
Thanks for passing by,
Take care
Â
Henk

Oh to be there! The photo opportunities are many. Pier and boat, boat and lamp, boat and ice, boat on its own, ice on its own and the various compositions. What a wonderful scene and image. Excellent!
