Description
Piha Beach - shot from the hillside vantage point as we wind down to the bay.
One of the North Island's west coast beaches, Piha (pea-ha) with Lion Rock is a popular surfing and swimming beach. Ii is close to where they filmed Anne Campion's movie 'The Piano'. We will spend some time here looking about.

I just loved the movie 'The Piano'. This looks like it's going to be a great exploration for you. A fantastic view...love the huge rock formation going into the water....I bet it would be just magical at sunset with long exposures. Look forward to the rest. :)
