Description

This is my first draft of my Resevoir... it failed. The lighting is too bright. I have light source in between the pillar to seems like light is pouring in from above (didn't work). This idea is taken from the book Sabriel by Garth Nix. My bro say the marble doesn't fit it right. Any comments? Any ideas how i can have ray of light (dianglly). Well hope u enjoy.

I love Garth Nix! The water is excellent! And the pillared marble is also wonderful. It's all in the lighting. If the light is coming in from between the pillars to the left, you must also add shadows behind the pillars, throwing across the water as well toward the pillars to the right. The brightest light will be on the left side pillars but behind them facing the right pillars will be dark. Very little ambiant light on the ceiling, with the lightest being closest to the left and getting darker to the right. Good luck, I'd like to see this reposted after you play with the lighting more.
