It is very nice image and natural lighting. I propose you should let the frog face the pond instead of the camera, but thats only my opinion.

How to improve? Hmmm, let me think. I know, how about put a frame around it and hang it on your wall? In all serious though, very well done, about the only thing that you might try is some ripple or small waves or distortion maybe across the surface of the water. It seems a bit too smooth.

Thanks! Ripples in the water would be nice. But I haven't learned how to do them yet, I'll try!

The image is lovely :) To get ripples on the water you simply edit the material and add noise in the function editor, you can try out various functions to get the effect you want. I hope that helps. BTW, I love the sky..it looks like velvet cream :)

wow i really liked your image a lot, even as it was coming before the pond was visible it looked great. i have to tell you its great but the frog troubles me a little bit, i think it stands out to much and your eye jolts straight to it, if you could soften it or even hide it in the image a bit it could help. i do love it though it is very soft and peaceful, a place i could sit in the sun.

Tend to agree with shockwaverider, maybe a left over part of the frog and facing the pond? Maybe just a lot smaller, say 10% of this size - the sky is excellent and I really like the love tree.

I accidently saved my last render over this one, but I spent 3 hours last night to rebuild it as I saved the main pond terrain as an object (happy I did that :) and I did not add any frog, next step will be the ripples in the water... Thank's for the incouraging comments!

That's a really nice pic. I like the ground texture, the foreground plants and the swirly clouds.
