Very ironic, and very indicative of the way we externalise, constantly comparing ourselves (often unfavourably) with others and seating our self-esteem in the opinions of others instead of cultivating it within ourselves. We never seem to measure up! And we want to conform! I say ironic, because marketing and advertising rely heavily on this, let's face it ;-)
