Description
I don't really like posting images I'm not really happy with (although I say I'm not happy with my work all the time) but in this case, I'm actually not so happy, but I want to revise this and need help with finding a more Beachy mood, and better beach surfaces.
Thanks

I like the depth here. Maybe a bit gamma, contrast and colour correction can improve the mood. I do such things very often. ;-)

In my opinion, surfaces are incisive, may be the wet part in the shoreline is too large concerning the wave dimension; Also, If you are not sure about the colour surfaces (if it is a texture overlay), tring to raise brightness and contrast could help. For the rest, imho here, the gamma correction (or exposure) is too high (but i dont know if i am very obiective on this; in my image gamma correction or exposure is always set to very low values). Btw, this render is not so bad as you said!
Visionsary
This is not as bad as you think. The depth is very well done, and the misty output gives the realism of a heavy humidity. The far off terrain structure is well done also.

Agree with Visionsary that this is not bad ! The pastel look is appealing. The foregroung may be somewhat bland and I would change the POV mildly ! This is nice work just the same. Art after all is art !

I love the overall look. Maybe a few tufts of grass in the immediate forground to break up (or cover up) the blandness of the beach?

I post sometimes after getting bored with an idea just to be done with it. Oh well. This is fine but maybe less gamma and/or less exposure and/or a lower angled sun to try to saturate the colors more. This really is a nice picture as is, I think just a bit washed out in color.

I agree with Superza. Try lowering the gamma setting to 1. If too dark; just work up a bit on the setting. Also; try a POV that gives move depth - like having the shoreline run diagonnaly across the screen. Try three layers of sand with the darkest just above the water; then, a bit lighter above that; then, the third layer would be the lightest in color.
