I think this would make a great image for a comic book or just book cover in general. Very cool.

Kinda looks like something that would be used for a Foundation book cover. Anyway, nice work! Only change I would make is have the arm/back of hand emerging from somewhere, rather then just cut off. (ripples in space or something)

Hmm no I think that the hand just floating looks fine, sort of emphasizes everything. Not that having the arm wouldn't look good, but it would change the sort of image from whatever this (Christian?) is to more Greek mythology (Atlas). Looks great to me! =P

I WAS GOING FOR AN OLD STAR TREK EPISODE TYPE THING WHEN ALL YOU SEE IS THIS GIANT HAND IN SPACE HOLDING ON TO THE ENTERPRISE! NEVER REALLY THOUGHT ABOUT THE CHRISTIAN OR GREEK MYTHOLOGY ANGLE BUT I CAN SEE IT NOW. THANKS FOR THE COMMENTS!
