Description

A banner year in the desert for rain - almost every week now since December. All of us desert rats are beginning to grow webbing between our toes and to Quack like ducks. The desert knows what to do with all of this water even if we mere humans are puzzled - It grows things, many things, wonderful things. Thank you all for taking your time to view my artistic scribblings. Your comments and suggestions are not only deeply appreciated but valued highly.

Well....all I can say to this is LET IT RAIN!.... marvelous, magestic, mystical, and magic! Wow what a sky...it feels so close to earth that you could almost inhale those incredible clouds. It's amazing, Paul...truly mother nature's gift. VOTE

I too will look forward as you no doubt are already, for when things grow in the desert, it will be a painted desert of many beautiful colours. V

I love these shots, the dessert is alien to me, I'm surrounded by hills and woods and creeks, so shots like this, (which looks just like a painting) Wow.. that give me an opportunity to see this alien beauty and rejoice that it is part of this earth.

This is an awesome photo. I use to live in kansas, and have seen many skies like this before a very high wind storm. Brilliant shot.
